Project Overview

A Full-Service Commercial Fit-Out for Mecca Gourmet
Set in the bustling Village Green retail precinct in Karawara, Mecca Gourmet’s commercial fit-out brief was to be more than a facelift—it required a functional, on-brand transformation. Alldin was engaged to deliver a full café, dessert bar, and restaurant fit-out with integrated commercial kitchen infrastructure, elegant dining layouts, and customer-flow optimisation.

Scope of work

  • Internal strip-out and make-good of the existing layout
  • Custom banquette seating and point-of-sale counters
  • Installation of waterproof flooring, safety tiles & coving
  • Fit-out of new prep zones and servery windows
  • Plumbing and electrical connections for all café & kitchen equipment
  • Detailed coordination with client-supplied items, including:
    • Pizza ovens, fryers, freezers, chargrill and coffee systems
    • Frozen yoghurt dispensers and toppings bars
    • Glass display fridges and upright service refrigeration

The café’s interiors reflect Mecca Gourmet’s Mediterranean-inspired branding, with:

  • Black wood-matte Polytec paneling

  • Vivid White low-VOC paint by Dulux

  • Natural stone-look benchtops with gold edging

  • Gloss white tiled splashbacks

  • Custom display counters with fluted black fronts

  • Checkerboard P3/P4 slip-rated vinyl tile flooring

Each element was designed to create a polished, sensory experience—from the neon signage to the smooth servery flow.

Hospitality Functionality

Designed for High-Volume, Multi-Zone Service This venue required thoughtful zoning between dining, takeaway, and dessert. The layout supports:

  • Indoor + alfresco seating

  • Frozen yoghurt self-serve bar

  • Quick espresso pick-up window

  • Full dine-in kitchen + plated dessert display
