This 2025 project focused on transforming two of the venue’s most frequented spaces, the Sports bar and Bistro, with upgraded flooring, new layouts, and service-focused enhancements, all while the hotel remained open for trade.
The brief? To elevate both the functionality and visual appeal of the venue, all while preserving its long-standing character and maintaining full trade. With works completed outside of operating hours, the project required careful staging, fast turnarounds, and minimal disruption to patrons.

Elevating a Local Icon with Purposeful Design
When the team at Victoria Park Hotel needed to upgrade their iconic venue, they chose Alldin for our proven ability to work fast, maintain quality, and minimise disruption. This hospitality refurbishment focused on reimagining two key spaces — the Sports Bar and Bistro — to improve layout, function, and flow.
Over the course of five weeks, our Perth commercial building team delivered a full interior refurbishment across both areas, including new flooring, updated wall finishes, lighting upgrades, waiter station joinery, and strategic removals to improve sightlines and usability — all while the venue remained operational.
Scope of work
- Removal of the built-in booth seat and servery structure
Demolition and reconstruction of internal walls
Timber floor replacement (~36m²) to match existing
Installation of a new waiter station, complete with stainless steel bench and integrated fridge and cabinetry
Vinyl flooring installation at new service areas
Wall and ceiling repairs post-demolition
- Coordination and installation of new venue signage, including placement of branded and directional signage as required
- Full bar removal, including safe disconnection of plumbing and electrical services
Demolition of bar footprint, including screed set-down to prepare the floor for new finishes
Flooring reinstatement to seamlessly match existing timber and surrounding materials
Timber floor sanding and sealing to unify the look across lounge and bistro areas
Wall and ceiling touch-ups to repair demolition impact and prepare for fresh finishes
Updated circulation layout, improving guest flow and staff efficiency
Make-good works on former bar area to repurpose space for future use
